Twin Valley District Executive Promoted

Twin Valley District Executive Matt Lindberg has accepted a promotion within our council to be the Program Director. Matt was originally recruited to the Scouting profession while working at Camp Royaneh. He is indebted to the Twin Valley volunteers who helped form and shape his leadership style within Scouting. He hopes to see you all at camp!

GGAC Eagle Service Project Map

Have you completed an Eagle Scout Service Project in the Golden Gate Area Council or one of its legacy councils? If so make sure you have included it on the GGAC’s project map sponsored by the GGAC National Eagle Scout Association committee.

Deadlines extended for Eagle Scouts to apply for these NESA scholarships

The deadline for this year’s scholarships has been extended to Feb. 12 to allow the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts the opportunity to apply. Young women who have earned the Eagle Scout Award from Oct. 1, 2020, to Feb. 8, 2021, will be the inaugural group and have their Eagle Scout credentials dated Feb. 8, 2021

To honor Scouts that earned the Eagle Scout rank in 2020, Scout Life magazine will publish a special digital edition, and you can purchase a space in it to congratulate a new Eagle Scout or class of Eagle Scouts. Boys’ Life magazine was renamed Scout Life in the January-February 2021 issue.
