Twin Valley’s Newest Silver Beaver

We are proud to announce that Trevor Bormann is the newest Silver Beaver recipient in our Twin Valley District. Trevor has a long history of service on the unit level, district level, and for the SFBAC and GGAC Councils. Among his accomplishments, Trevor was the National Eagle Scout Association (NESA) Co-Chair for 7 years. In this role, he promoted the Eagle Scout Project of the Year selection process, multiple Eagle scout appreciation events, and additional recognition items for Eagle Scouts. Being an Eagle Scout himself, his dedication to the achievement of youth was extremely significant in the promotion of Eagle Scout achievement throughout the Bay Area.

Trevor has been extremely active in his service to youth in other community endeavors. Trevor has been working with youth in the baseball training and development community since he was 12 years old.  He volunteered umpiring and trained little league umpires as high as the district level.  He also volunteered at the local high schools, little leagues and other local organizations for camps. Trevor sits on the board of a newly founded non-profit (the Betty Ross Foundation) aimed to help underprivileged youth afford to participate in travel/ club sports.

Throughout Trevor’s adult life, he has shown the commitment to serve youth and the community. He is well-regarded and admired for his drive, enthusiasm, and leadership in all scouting and community activities in which he leads. We are proud to have Trevor join the many other distinguished Silver Beaver recipients in the Golden Gate Area Council and Twin Valley District.
