Shared at the March Roundtable, the “Trail Trekker Quick Start Guide” was created to hand out to parents in your pack. One of the constant requests from Cub Scout leaders is help in getting parents involved.
For a new parent, especially one who wasn’t involved in scouting themselves, it can be daunting to jump in. The objective of the quick start guide is to make planning a trail trekker sound as easy as it really is. Four simple steps with some tips and reminders. Once they have successfully planned a trail trekker for your pack, it might boost their confidence and get them excited about doing more.
We’ve also included a grid of all the trail trekkers to help select the next one to go on.
