Scoutbook Calendar will be replaced by Internet Advancement on November 2nd, providing users with familiar features and exciting new capabilities like support for recurring meetings, integrated activities, and shared scheduling with the Scoutbook Calendar.

AAA Live Scan will be attending the May 12th Roundtable meeting; registration is required.
US District Court Grants BSA Motion for Summary Judgment in Trademark Infringement Case Brought by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA)
The BSA shared a statement saying it is pleased that the court has vindicated the BSA’s position and summarily rejected all claims of the GSUSA.
AB 506 Mandated Reporter Training & Live Scan Background Check
AB 506 standards as of January 2022 required Mandated Reporter Training from the State of California
by February 28 and Live Scan background check complete before April 30, 2022.

Twin Valley District Executive Promoted
Twin Valley District Executive Matt Lindberg has accepted a promotion within our council to be the Program Director. Matt was originally recruited to the Scouting profession while working at Camp Royaneh. He is indebted to the Twin Valley volunteers who helped form and shape his leadership style within Scouting. He hopes to see you all at camp!
Deadlines extended for Eagle Scouts to apply for these NESA scholarships
The deadline for this year’s scholarships has been extended to Feb. 12 to allow the inaugural class of female Eagle Scouts the opportunity to apply. Young women who have earned the Eagle Scout Award from Oct. 1, 2020, to Feb. 8, 2021, will be the inaugural group and have their Eagle Scout credentials dated Feb. 8, 2021
